Type of Supernatural/Powers:
Control over the nature world i.e. Control of plants, understand animals. Can ride the wind and slip through the smallest of gaps. Microwave fingers and other fae magic. Faster and stronger than humans. Sings softer than the birds. Weakness to iron.
Appearance:
Long tresses of golden green hair over ocean blue eyes and lips the colour of pink rose petals. Athletic and toned from a life of running the forests and ridges around Cameo. Abnormally Beautiful as all fae are. Tends to wear patchwork clothes, made from whatever material she can find and sow together.
History:
Ellora was born into a high ranking Fae family. As such certain things were expected of her but Ellora wanted only to be free, to have her own life. On the day she was to become engaged to the son of another high ranking family, she ran away with a human she’d fallen in love and came to live in a cottage deep in the forest outside of Cameo.
Their life together was good at first. But as he began to age and she didn’t he became bitter. Asking her to use her magic to feed his greed. Locking her in the root cellar beneath their house when she would not comply. His behaviour led her to believe all humans selfish, greedy and petty creatures. He died and was taken to be buried with her locked in the cellar and it took her three days to dig out and up. Has an eternal fear of small dark places.
The cottage crumbled into dereliction with no money coming in to fix it, but Ellora makes due, able to grow her own vegetables and herbs to make food and bake bread. She stayed in Cameo because where else did she have to go, she knew she could never go home, back to a life she didn’t want to lead and is content with a fairly isolated existence.
She does not venture into town for fear of running into a blood drinker, who would be intoxicated by her smell.
